| How They Work
A laser rangefinder is a device using a pulsed laser and a light detector. By
measuring the time taken for light to reflect off a down range object, and
knowing the speed of light, the distance to the object can be calculated. The
calculation is dependent on the reflectivity of the target.
The RangePal is the perfect "cooperative target" for
the laser rangefinder. Its excellent reflective surface offers far greater
reflectivity than a flag or flagstick alone. This means even a low end model is
as effective as the expensive units when it comes to target recognition,
guaranteed!
The flags low reflectivity dampens the "bounce" effect of the transmitted laser
beam. The RangePal's high
reflectivity guarantees instant and accurate readings even with low end model
laser rangefinders!

If an accurate yardage reading is important to you, only a
laser rangefinder and RangePal Reflectors will do.
